Passive SW 7064

Now this is exactly the scene that you’ll want to come home to everyday. The perfect mudroom or entry way is not only functional (look at all the storage space! The hooks! The baskets!) but is also welcoming. And Passive SW 7064 does just that. The color is reflected in the textured rug which, as we have talked about many times on this blog, is a great way to add depth and interest in the room while maintaining the color theme. Plus, the dog matches the rug but we don’t think you can adopt him at Pottery Barn…

Naval SW 6244

Navy is the secret hero that we often forget about. Its certainly not a new color, its not “trendy” or being called the Color of The Year but…we think it’s the workhorse of the color world. A saturated color that is endlessly interesting to the eye, it also serves as a wonderful background and highlight to lighter patterns and manages to knit together oranges and light blues and neutrals in this room. Naval SW 6244 is our favorite unsung hero.

Rosebud SW 6288

Pink is definitely having its moment – we’ve seen it in many places and have written about it on the blog before but this is a classy twist on the trend. With subtle grey undertones, this pink is less bubblegum and pop and more tradition and elegance. Paired with the antiqued wood finish of the Pottery Barn furnishings, Rosebud SW 6288 is a color that isn’t “having its moment” but is rather spanning generations.
