360° Painting of NWA is owned by Kurt Southworth. As a died-in-the-wool Arkansan, Kurt couldn’t be happier to bring the 360° difference to Bentonville and the rest of Northwest Arkansas. As the owner of Bentonville’s premier painting company, Kurt takes pride in providing customers with the expert advice and customer service they deserve, along with the five-star results that 360° Painting of NWA is famous for.

Kurt’s Background

Headshot of Kurt Before launching his own painting company, Kurt had a long and successful career as a project manager with some of corporate America’s biggest companies. A graduate of the University of Arkansas, Kurt spent the first twenty-six years of his career as a part of Motorola, where he worked in a management capacity on space and information technology projects.
In 2008, Kurt left Motorola accepted a senior management role with Walmart, a move that brought him home to Northwest Arkansas. It was during his time at Walmart that Kurt began thinking of owning his own painting company.

After a career in managing big, corporate projects, Kurt decided to harness his management skills to help fellow Arkansans beautify their homes. A passionate and lifelong DIYer, Kurt decided to open his own painting company right here in Bentonville, choosing the 360° Painting model. Kurt was attracted to the high-quality materials used by 360° Painting, as well as the 20-Step Process that ensured picture-perfect results on every project.

Kurt opened 360° Painting of NWA in late 2015. Since then, the company has quickly become northwest Arkansas’ premier painting company, earning rave, five-star reviews from customers throughout Northwest Arkansas. As owner of 360° Painting of NWA, Kurt takes pride in delighting his customers with the crisp, consistent, and flawless results that have become our company’s trademark.
In addition to operating his own painting company, Kurt enjoys a range of activities, including fine furniture refinishing, hiking in the Ozarks, Razorback football games, shows at the Walton Arts Center, visiting the Crystal Bridges Museum, and spending time with his family.

Why did you decide to start a local 360° Painting?

I wanted to own a business where I could make people happy every day. Seeing the smiles when the project is complete is the best part. Nothing beats the big reveal when the customer sees the finished work.

What is your philosophy when it comes to customer service?

Painters have for too long provided poor service. I believe my customers should be treated with respect, and provided a great painting experience every time. I , like you, have used a lot of contractors in the past few years and they generally don’t meet my expectations. I decided to change this..

What do you like most about the community you live in?

I love the pride our community has in itself. We support each other and celebrate our successes. That can show up as a successful non-profit event or our enthusiasm over a Razorback win.

If you could give one piece of advice to a home or business owner considering painting, what would you say?

If you are going to do it yourself, you must spend the time to do the preparation right. Most of our customers are amazed at the preparation that goes into their projects.
