3. Preliminary Walk-Through

An on-site supervisor walks through the project with you before painting starts. Together, we confirm the scope of work, review relevant areas of the property, and clarify what you want completed. This conversation helps our crew begin with a shared understanding of the plan.

4. Surface Preparation

Careful preparation creates a sound surface for the new coating. Depending on the condition of the exterior, this step can include removing dirt and mildew with biodegradable detergent or bleach, scraping and sanding peeling paint, spot priming, caulking, and applying putty. We also evaluate rotten or broken wood and secure loose boards, moldings, and protruding nails.

5. Window & Fixture Preparation

We protect windows and may remove screens when required by the project. Downspouts, storm windows, shutters, and similar items may also need to be removed and replaced so the crew can reach the surfaces behind them. If this work adds to the cost, we explain the charge beforehand.

6. Repair Evaluation

Our team reviews minor carpentry needs with you before proceeding. We discuss how wood rot repair or replacement work could affect the project plan, and any additional repair charges are agreed upon in advance. Addressing damaged components can help protect the exterior and the property investment over time.

7. Painting

Once preparation is complete, we apply the planned coats, including the finishing coat, using premium exterior paint. Our crew follows established safety guidelines throughout this stage to protect your property and everyone working on-site.

8. Finishing Touches

After painting, we inspect the work, complete a thorough cleanup, and remove our tools and equipment. Outdoor items affected by the project are returned as specified in the plan, leaving the property clean and orderly.

9. Final Walk-Through

We conduct an internal inspection before reviewing the completed work with you. During this final review, we address remaining questions, compare the finished project with the agreed scope, and confirm that you’re satisfied with the result.
